Best Recipe to Use a Ham Bone?

Do you have recipe suggestions? After nearly every holiday, I have a leftover meaty ham bone – couple in my freezer right now. I’d like a good crockin’ recipe. Suggestions?

It would be yummy with a side of cornbread. I think I’m going to have to make a mess of beans really soon. lol

Bean soup: a can of whatever beans you like (kidney or navy are good here), a can of chicken broth, 6 cups water, seasonings to taste (“kebab masala” is the go-to spice in my house), the bone itself. Rinse beans, add all ingredients to crockpot, stir, cover, set to “low”, walk away, and come back in 8hrs and it’s done…
