I am a single grandma raising 2 grand children and since the kids are always hungry my crockpots come in handy. I remember years ago having to stand over a stove most of the day to have the kind of meals we liked, but Crockpots make life much easier. We even take a crockpot on vacation when we rent a cabin so we have more time together and it is not unusual to have more than one crockpot going at a time at home.
