Green Chili Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Lean stew meat (cut to bite size) season with salt & pepper
  • 1 Can Green enchilada sauce
  • 1 Can Green chilies
  • 1 Can Rotel
  • 2 Large potatoes (cut to bite size)
  • 1 Can Corn
  • 1 Cup Pinto beans (rinsed)
  • 8 Cups Water

Directions

  1. Step One

    I cook on high for 2-3 hrs and turn to low for 4 hrs.

  2. Step Two

    Or you can cook it on low 8-10 hrs. We eat ours with corn bread.

    After reading the comments, I decided to only use two cups of water. Also added some slap yo mama spice and a little chili powder. Was very good.

    I’m not one to complain about food, if you took a look at me you would agree but, This was horrible! It was a soup not a stew. I wasn’t sure if I should eat taste it, and when I did it was bland. It didn’t even look appetizing. Yuck!
