Meat and Cheese Mexican Dip - Delicous recipe made with a slow cooker
A slightly spicy alternative to stuffed peppers. I combined a few ideas from other recipes and added a few of my own.
This takes a lot of time to make, but it makes a lot. I freeze in batches using a vacuum sealer, then cook when desired. (I have like sized ingredients to save...
- 1 Pound Ground beef, browned and drained
- 3 Cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz) Can Kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 Package McCormick’s chili seasoning
- 1 Cup Brown sugar
In the crock-pot, mix all ingredients.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Serve over Fritos or hot dogs, sprinkle cheddar cheese if desired.
